1. Services Provided

·         Lighten Life offers light, in-home support including:

·         Holding or caring for infants while parents rest or shower

·         Light household help (laundry, dishes, tidying)

·         Errands and small jobs (e.g. groceries, post office, lightbulb changes)

·         Companion visits and conversation

*Note: We do not provide deep cleaning, medical care, or parenting advice.*

2. Booking & Payment

·         All bookings must be paid in advance.

·         A 2-hour minimum applies to all appointments.

·         Extra time can be requested and added if availability allows.

·         Gift vouchers are available and valid for 12 months.

3. Cancellations

·         Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice will be refunded in full or rescheduled.

·         Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable unless due to illness or emergency.

4. Health & Safety

·         If unwell, we will reschedule rather than risk your family’s health.

·         Please also reschedule if anyone in the household is unwell.

·         Hygiene practices (handwashing, masks if requested) are always followed.

5. Behaviour & Boundaries

·         We reserve the right to leave a session if a situation feels unsafe or inappropriate.

·         Tasks will only be completed within the agreed scope of service.

6. Trust & Security

·         All Lighten Life helpers have completed a Ministry of Justice background check and hold public liability insurance.

·         We operate with care, respect, and transparency in your home.
